Café Bateel is delighted to announce a selection of exciting new beverages with the launch of our recent menu. From fresh mocktails to creamy milkshakes and fragrant coffees, guests are invited to discover premium beverage offerings, unique to the market.

For a warm indulgence, Café Bateel is offering the new artisanal Bateel Latte, layered with steamed milk, espresso and aromatic cardamom Bateel dhibs. A premium delicacy, the cardamom date dhibs is an organic, all-natural healthy substitute to refined sugar. Packed with essential nutrients and minerals, the cardamom dhibs is the ideal choice for a natural sweetener to the Bateel Latte. With a silky texture and complex flavour, the cardamom dhibs is ideal for both the warm Bateel Latte and the Iced Cardamom Latte.

Handmade to perfection, Bateel’s new latte selection is crafted using only the finest ingredients. Our 100% Arabica Coffee is a speciality blend of beans sourced from Brazil’s Santos area and Ethiopia’s Djimmah region. This exotic blend of Bateel coffee beans is slow-roasted and offers a premium, robust flavour. Our 100% Arabica Coffee Beans are available for purchase in the 250g or 1kg variety so our guests can continue to enjoy the Bateel experience at home. For those looking to indulge in our artisanal Bateel Latte, we are delighted to share our fragrant recipe.

Ingredients

  • 14g Bateel Arabica Coffee Beans
  • 200ml steamed milk
  • 30ml Bateel Date Dhibs – Cardamom

You Will Need

  • Espresso coffee machine with grinder
  • Milk frother
  • Double-wall glass
  • Espresso cup
  • Spoon
  • Stirring rod

Directions

  1. Pour 200ml of fresh milk in a milk frother and steam until milk temperature reaches 60-65 degrees Celsius and 1cm in thickness
  2. Gently pour the steamed milk into a double-wall glass
  3. With a spoon, carefully drizzle the cardamom date dhibs into the centre of the milk
  4. Place 14g of Bateel Arabica Coffee Beans in espresso machine and grind very finely
  5. Brew the espresso shot in the espresso cup
  6. Pour the espresso shot into the double-wall glass slowly

Serve warm and enjoy rich and indulgent flavours.
